I was checking back on my post from yesterday about help with a 3 yo's bedtime. Someone assumed I must SAH to implement such an early bedtime. This seems snarky and ill-informed in my opinion. Don't any of you come naturally to the right bedtime for babies/toddlers? For the longest time, my now 3yo went to bed at 6.30. Her baby brother goes to bed between 6.30 and 7. Can't make it any later! Has nothing to do with my working or not. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i can understand her assumption. most of us who work get home around that time and it does matter if you work because when would you see your child? [ Reply | More

I think people tend to do that. You do one thing differently than I do so you MUST be completely different in every way. Or, maybe that was a tired mom who wishes she could spend time with her kids and still get them to bed super early so she could have some grown up time too. [ Reply | More

so what if she did? my dh sees my kids only briefly during the week but would never think of trying to adjust their natural schedule so that he could see them more. [ Reply | More
