how close are your kids in age? if they are close, do you feel bad for the older one, like they didn't get enough alone time w/ you before #2? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

DC are 2-and-1/2 years apart. Honestly, I didn't love the split at first -- #1 was old enough to notice the disruption in his life, but still too young to have his "own" world. Things are great now -- DC are 6 and 3-and-1/2 and it's nice, they can play together (sort of!), but also have their own interests (and, logistically it works -- they are on different schedules and have time together and apart).
