If you pull up the sides at the top of the juice/milk boxes it relieves pressure and makes spills less if dc squeezes the box. [ Reply | More ]

if you spill some soap on dc's face while bathing dc, don't wash it off. wipe it with a tissue. [ Reply | More ]

^^^and in a related comment, if you let your 1yo suck on one of those soapy bath-mitt things, when they cry immediately afterwards, they can actually blow bubbles from the soap that is still in their mouths. [ Reply | More ]

when giving medicine to a toddler/young child with a dropper/syringe and the kid is refusing the medicine, put dropper to the side of the mouth and invoke gag reflex to make sure child is not able to spit medicine back up. Though it sounds awful, it's absolutely necessary if DC really needs the meds. [ Reply | More ]
