repost- i'll try one more time. did anyone choose a home daycare for childcare? if so, please tell me why and if you are happy. i'm pg with #2 and looking at childcare options. i was home ft with #1 until he was 3 yo so this is all new to me. thanks! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

are you still here? i'm considering it for the first time. it's like working p/t...doesn't quite have the drawbacks of anything but doesn't quite have the positives either. it's much less expensive, gives a group situation which i want for my dc at this point. [ Reply | More ]

I'm considering it for dd who is almost 4mo. She'll be almost 5mo when we need care. I hate that we have to put her anywhere and I wish I could just quit my job and stay home for a couple of years till she goes to kindergarden. [ Reply | More ]

I had my ds in a home daycare for a few months. If it is licensed and/or you are comfortable with the ratio of kids to adults, I think it is a great option for an infant. Around the age of 2, I would prefer more of a structured learning environment which you can get in a regular daycare setting [ Reply | More ]
