HELP! I've recently stopped swaddling my 9 month old. Now in bed she rolls over and sits up. Doesn't understand it's bedtime anymore. What to do??? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

okay - but she's sitting up - will she lay down on her own eventually? [ Reply | More ]

no the next step is pulling herself up on the rail and yelling for you to come in. I've been there and what i did was rock my dd until she fell asleep which took forever. the next thing i did was exhaust the heck out of her after her afternoon nap so that she would literally collapse into a deep sleep. btw if you're a sahm exhausting her in the summer is easy just take her to a pool or park with water. [ Reply | More ]

np - yes she will lie down on her own. We use those baby in a bag/sleep sack for night time. I think it helps them know it is bed time. We also have a bedtime routine. [ Reply | More ]

I do the same thing. I feel like sleepsac + routine lets them know it's bedtime. And yes, db will lay down on her own. [ Reply | More ]
