To themom super lawyers on the board. I am one of the moms with a 99 sb dc and 98 olsat who did not get into only two schools chosen. Was told by nikki rosen that did not get into district choice becasue "there were just too many siblings." [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

op here: sorry cut off.. Anyway, do u think there is some sort of claim to be made here since 90 sibs got in and higher scorer was not placed. ISn't that the whole point of g 7 T? Seems really unjust. Wondering if there is any legal recourse. It seems generally that so much emphasis is given to special needs children at one end of the spectrum and gifted childs should be viewed as sn kids at the other end who deserve equal services/attention. agree. The system does not seem fair, unless they qualify kids based on a score and do a lottery for placements. also 90-94s siblings in d2 and d3 should not be given any prefs in manhattan any way, they should not even be qualifying for district programs.. [ Reply | More ]
