You mean aside from Brooklyn Heights? Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens. Depending on where in Brooklyn Heights, you could be close to the Clark Street stop and have an easy commute from the North Slope or Prospect Heights. [ Reply | More ]

we live in the North Slope and love it for the kid friendly nature of it all, but if not here then probably Brooklyn Heights. [ Reply | More ]

^^^and if you feel like being close to a park (not just a playground) is necessary, then definitely Park Slope. [ Reply | More ]

Depending on budget I would opt for Cobble Hill, Carrol Gardens, Windsor Terrace (this is descending order.) I would throw Park Slope in there if budget is enough and park trumps scene for you. [ Reply | More ]

Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens and Park Slope are all nice neighborhood. People living in each might think their neigbhorhood is better but truthfully they have a lot of similarities. [ Reply | More ]

Just do not live in Windsor Terrace (if you can afford not to). People that have moved there might try to say that it is up and coming. The architecture is ugly, the schools are not great and the general amenities are just not there. It is not a bad place but rather a working class neighbor that has not been gentrified like the other mentioned above. [ Reply | More ]
