so my 3 month old goes to bed at 6:00pm. She WILL not stay up any later. Freaks out. Anway, sleeps until 12:00pm and then wakes at 4:00am again and again at 7:30 am. Does she really need that 4 am feeding? Is it to early to cry it out? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

This is pretty typical for a 3mo. I am not a fan of CIO at any age but I couldn't even contemplate it at 3mo. [ Reply | More ]

^Thanks. Just wondering. It is really not that bad of a schedule! [ Reply | More ]

much better than my 3 month old's schedule. Asleep at 8 p.m., but up at 1, 3 and 5. Stays up from 5-7 a.m. then sleeps for 2 more hours. [ Reply | More ]

It's actually pretty good. Keep doing what you are doing and eventually dc will sleep through. [ Reply | More ]

I think that's way too early. [ Reply | More ]

It's too early. I tried it at close to 5 mos w/my dd and it didn't work. Tried again closer to 7 mos and it worked wonders. Unfortunately, have to just grin and bear it at that age. [ Reply | More ]

how much does she weigh? you can try offering pacifier or just patting her to see if that works. My ds began sleeping through the night around 3 months, but he was over 10 lbs by then. [ Reply | More ]
