OK ladies, i need some suggestions! Now that we are going private (school) for sure, I feel the need to contribute. My kids are in camp until 4 each day and I'm starting to feel pretty useless around here. I need something part time that might be easy to walk away from since I'm trying to get pregnant a 3rd time. But right now my days are pretty free and I need to make some $$. I have a college degree but it's in theatre. I have no real resume because I started having kids pretty much right out of college, but I have done tons of volunteer work over the years and I worked for a few theatres in college doing administrative work. I'm funny and good with people on the phone and in person, and I know how to present myself and be professional. I'm also very organized and can multi-task. In NYC. Ideas? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

What about theater camps, don't they have workshops for children during the summer? or what about an administrative assistant. Event planning, catering, etc. You sound like you could be creative (arts). Look around and spread the word networking is the best way to find a job. [ Reply | More
