i am the father of twin girls, and we had many m/cs and failed attempts before conceiving and carrying to term--mom at 37 yo. i think miscarriages are more common than we used to know. now that ultrasound and pg tests give such early results, i've learned from so many acquaintances of lost pgs. i think it always had happened, but we didn't know. nature's way of picking her best shot.
