WWYD? Class parents asked for 3 different collections. $20/$40/$40. Dh put 3 different envelopes with the amount in dd's bag. Of the 3 only 1 parent says she got the cash. I spoke to the assistant teacher who goes through bags and distributes stuff and of course she has no conscious recollection of seeing three envelopes. Would you pay another $80 or just shrug it off. I was informed by two of the parents that the money did not get there. And when I mentioned that third mother got hers no one did the "Well I'm sure we got your money but blah blah blah, don't worry about it speech." Meanwhile, I kind of blame dh for not doing a good enough job of coding the envelope, or putting a note inside.
