what do you mean hopeless? hopeless as in "i'll never be happy again" or hopeless as in " i wish my dh would be around more but i don't think he will". [ Reply | More

perhaps both. feeling like there is no partnership here and very lonely. the tricky part is that if we split, he would see our kids rarely (even though he loves them) given his obsession with work. [ Reply | More

i realize it's hasty of me to say this, but i dont' think it's ppd. i think your feelings are probably exacerbated b/c you are post partum and probably physically run down as well. I'd take things with a grain of salt...you are probably overreacting b/c of the stage you are in. a husband who works many hours is not in and of itself a reason to be divorced. my advice would be to put all thoughts of this on hold until your baby is 6mo. You'll be calmer, you'll have more of a routine. [ Reply | More

I have no experience of ppd but do have experience of a baby and 2yo and it's tough especially if you don't have any help. Do you have friends with babies around you? This has been the biggest support to me. Maybe speak to your dr about how you are feeling. [ Reply | More
