Upset Brooklyn Mom: Given the impression that no children from Brooklyn were accepted to Anderson. We are right on the A line and the commute would have been 40minutes. Instead stuck with a 1 hour commute to Nest which we hated. If anyone knows of a Brooklyn kid accepted to Anderson, please post. We will feel better knowing that this wasn't planned by DOE. We are Queens and we took into account the commute. An hour each way is worth it for us. We have a high-energy child who loves the subway, and Anderson is a great school. (Plus we have no local options anyway!) [ Reply | More
