Do you mean go private? Someone has posted that a few kids went to private for high school, but I think, generally speaking, that kids who start in public stay public and kids who start in private stay private. [ Reply | More ]

I'm an Anderson parent. I know kids who've switched to Dalton & HM for Middle School. For HS: Trinity, Spence, Chapin, Dalton, Hotchkiss. Not many apply out to private, but those who do seem to be very successful in gaining private admission. [ Reply | More ]

np - I wonder if it's "those who do (apply) are successful" as much as those who make the switch to private schools are successful. You know what I mean? [ Reply | More ]

Donna explained at our tour that most kids stay in public, very few move to private after graduating. She also stressed that Anderson is not a "free" private school and families need to accept that it is public with DOE problems, overcrowding, etc. [ Reply | More ]

Donna also gave us the numbers for how many kids switched to private and it was very low. [ Reply | More ]
