Do you judge moms who have kids who are very overweight? There's a girl in DS's K class -- she's very tall but morbidly obese -- she must weigh close to 100 pounds. Her sister in 3rd grade is even bigger. Her mom is chubby but nothing like this. Could it be that both of the kids have metabolic disorders or something? I wonder who kids can actually get that heavy. I understand chubby but a 6yo morbidly obese kid is sad... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

so, you're not curious about any other child but your own? if a child is not properly cared for? if a child has cuts and bruises, wears shabby clothes. etc? the child could have fallen off a bike or been beaten by a parent. so, should you never wonder? [ Reply | More

I don't care about what a child wears or how heavy he or she is. If a child is coming to school covered head to toe in bruises, or has curious bruises, I would care. But clothing and weight are not my concern [ Reply | More
