What is the likelihood that I could find a decent 3 bedroom apt in Manhattan below $1.75M below 95St and not a long walk to the subway? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

East or West? FT doorman? I think you can find something, but the subway may be a little trickier. What about being far from the subway, but close to a cross-town bus? (Yes, it's a PITA.) Look on streeteasy.com and pounce when you find something! [ Reply | More ]

It will depend. If you are willing to do without a doorman and live on Columbus or Amsterdam, you might be able to find something. [ Reply | More ]

On the East side, with which I'm more familiar, you wouldn't be able to find that anywhere west of second avenue. Look in the York Avenue area. But you're still looking at a brownstone walk up type thing. 3bds are usually a million a bedroom in the better neighborhoods [ Reply | More ]
