just so you know there is technically no no-fault in NY. A separation agreement is the next best thing but you still have to wait a year after it has been signed for the final divorce decree. if you can both agree to abandonment on the grounds of no sexual realtions for a year or more or that spouse left the house (no judge checks if you both sign off but one of you has to claim the other abandoned you) then you can get it all done sooner.
