Do you believe in teacher tenure? I don't - I feel it does our kids a disservice that bad teachers can not be fired. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

bad teachers can be fired. I think there is myth that there is a ton of lousy teahers who cannot be fired because of tenure. I think tenure creates community in schools. you don't want teachers bouncing around schools and i know a lot of principals that suck and would fire good teachers who call them on thier b.s. if they could.
