DD is one and just tested positive for lead exposure. Not dangerous levels yet, but we are beside ourselves b/c not sure where she has been exposed. Has this happened to anyone? Did you have your house tested? Was that helpful? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Don't panic. We have just been through this too. Ds tested positive at 2yo (5 - so raised but not too high). We rent in a prewar building and insisted on testing and remedial work being done. At 2.5yo ds retested at 1 so back to normal. Not sure where he got the lead from but he also had some of the recalled toys so maybe there. I called the Dept of Health for advice on what to do and they were very helpful. GL. [ Reply | More ]
