EBF, 4 month old dd. Fed her on right side for 5 mn and then went to pump on that side. Nothing came out. Got 1 oz from left side. Hadn't used pum in over 6 weeks. DD doesn't cry out in hunger, but thought it was strange that I didn't get anything. Should I be worried I don't have enough of milk? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Do you usually only feed one side at a time? If so it's not shocking that the left one only had 1 oz, and by 4 mos, you'd be surprised how fast some kids can empty a boob. I'd go more by your DD's moods and weight gain. [ Reply | More
