Would have died for a letter this weekend and now I am simply drowning in them: email confirmation yesterday morning, faxed letter yesterday afternoon, "duplicate" letter by regular mail yesterday evening and special deliver "express" courier letter late today (I think my theory of one man with a van was accurate...) I expect you will receive it tomorrow. I wonder what the record will be for the longest "express" delivery? [ Reply | More ]

Unbelievable. The DOE spent $$ on the courier, that did not deliver your letter, then they spent more $$ on special deliver express mail and yet they are making budget cuts to our schools?!! Where's the logic? [ Reply | More ]

op: they didn't really send it express courier mail--that was me being sarcastic about 4-day service on a courier. My 4 year old could have walked it to our neighborhood from Tweed himself faster than the courier managed to do it. [ Reply | More ]

Still, the courier cost $5 per letter according to report on insideschools blog. That $$ would have been better spent on our kids schools!! [ Reply | More ]
