at 3 y/o they aren't really ballet classes, they are movement classes - working on balance, gross motor coordination, rhythm and musicality, and no, they aren't too young for that. [ Reply | More

PLEASE PLEASE take your child to SWEET SOUL MOVEMENT. They are in SOHO now but building a brand new CREATIVE CENTER for children and their FAMILIES!!!!! The director is absolutely amazing, she is a parent, a professional performer and has dual degrees in early childhood education and social work. I wouldn't send my child anywhere else. She teaches the LOVE of self expression and art, and somehow gets the children doing things that I have seen kids in much older classes do.
