I say BS only because big tuition payment at Dalton not due yet - so nothing technically to refund and contract pretty clear at this point 100% due even if pull out. [ Reply | More

Thanks. Co-ed, downtown. Feel free to give unsolicited advice. We're leaning towards Nest due to money and curriculum, but the other school is so nice and friendly tat I'll feel evil if we don't go there. We'll still hve to pay the full year, though, I think. [ Reply | More

Honestly, don't feel guilty - they can fill the spot. That said, the only reason I personally would consider public over private is money. You know what is best for your dc and family. I am sure that your dc will thrive at either place. As cheesy as it sounds I'd make a pro/con list. How long do you have to decide? GL, again. [ Reply | More

My dc is just finishing K at NEST. The NEST you hear about on UB is very different from the NEST my kid goes to every day. The kids there are great. The parents (vast majority of them) are really nice. It is a pleasure. The PTA had a picnic/fair last Friday in the courtyard. Tons of kids. A good time was had by all. And everyone was really great. The big kids are nice and gentle with the little ones. I'm (and my son is) very happy with our choice. [ Reply | More
