Please tell me your opinion. I am 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I have a 2 year old daughter and before her, I had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. The baby didn't grow past 5. It turns out that I had low progesterone. After my miscarriage, the doctor put me on clomid and progesterone and I got pregnant with my daughter. This time around, the doctor put me on the progesterone and clomid as well. I had my progesterone checked the other day as well as my HCG levels. The doctor said my progesterone was excellent and my hcg levels were "slightly positive". I said what does that mean? He said, well you are very early. However, of course, I am freaking out. How would you interrupt what the Dr. said? I am tired and getting cramping and dizzy and sore boobs, but other than that - no crazy symptoms. With my daughter, I knew everything was ok b/c I kept throwing up. I do not have any food aversions yet or throwing up, but it's too early. Please let me know your thoughts. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

You could make yourself crazy trying to figure it out. There's really nothing you can do until you get another HCG count. Is one planned? Nothing else will really give you an answer. [ Reply | More ]

you can't tell much from one hcg level. The important thing to see is if they numbers are doubling every 48-72 hours. Have them do another test to see how it is going [ Reply | More ]
