okay, typing is killing me, but am in tears and cant reach dh. have fifth disease with joint pain component. hands are so stiff i cant open the cap to the antinflammatories. its impossible a common kid disease should hurt this much, waiting for dr to call back. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Sorry you are having a tough time. To open the meds...put the bottle on something grippy (ideally a rubber mat, wet cloth etc) push down with the palm of your hand, don't use your fingers. If you can put something grippy around the bottle too so you don't have to grip it. [ Reply | More

Thanks. I had a lot of ups and downs. After a month I was getting worse too and thought it would never get better. But it did. Here is what helped: I cut out meat, coffee, increased fruits and veggies and started taking large does of fish oil (1 tablespoon/day of the liquid). And I went to a chirpracter 3x a week. yes, i cant even take the pressure of the bed some nights. dh rubs my knees and hips mornings for me to be able to hobble down stairs. so odd, i have endo too. going tomorrow for acupuncture, praying it helps. will try fish oil too, thx [ Reply | More
