My SIL and I both have DDs who are the same exact age. The difference? Her DD is gorgeous, sweet, and quiet and my DD is cute, very aggressive, and determined. I love my DD to death but part of me wishes she was more like her cousin. I know it's shallow and horrible, but I needed to put it out there... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

resiliance is really really important in life (and determination plays a part in that) - embrace it - maybe if you start to look at it as one of her best qualities instead of her worst it will help you to appreciate her nature a bit more than her cousin's [ Reply | More

age of dc? rest assured that her dc has tantrums just like yours does. and fwiw, i have one child that sounds a little similar to yours...not really aggressive but very strong willed and determined. I find that she takes a lot of "handling" but i feel like in the long run she'll accomplish so much. She's a "do-er" and i can't wait to see her in action once she's an adult. [ Reply | More
