that's weird, my dh has those periodically and they let him eat clear stuff - chicken broth, etc, the day before. The procedure itself apparently isn't bad at all, its the "atomic blasting juice" (as we call it) the night before that isn't so great. But GL! [ Reply | More ]

it's gonna suck. Put on comfy clothes, a good movie, and just know this is the worst part. [ Reply | More ]

24 hours from now you will not be complaining about how hungry you were this evening. [ Reply | More ]

did you actually lose any weight? That would be a nice bonus. I've had to cut out veggies because they aggravate my "issues" and it has helped me to gain about 5 lbs. No big deal, but I'd rather not have the xtra weight [ Reply | More ]

may I ask, what are your "issues" ... all of a sudden I am having intestional "issues" as well, but I've never had problems before... I just decided myself that I have an irritable bowel, but who knows ?! [ Reply | More ]

after the birth of #2 I have had a couple of major bouts of watery and/or fatty mucousy diarrhea. Each lasted for weeks on end and the second bout was accompanied by major colitis. My GP sent me to see a GI and he suggested a colonoscopy since I have a sibling with Crohn's. I almost canceled because I feel fine now, but then I thought of how miserable I was when I was in the midst of it. I'd go see a GI - it can't hurt. They wont do a colonoscopy unless they think you really need it. Apparently childbirth can trigger latent issues [ Reply | More ]
