I'm 35 with a delightful 9mo, I do want one more db but want to have them closer to 3 years apart so that there will be relatively less chaos when the 2nd one appears. I have literally 4 friends with dbs within 6 months of mine who are all pg again already and its making me feel pressure to start ttc again. I got pg on the first shot with db #1. The pressure is unwarranted, right? And 3 yrs apart is definitely less chaos than, say 1.5-2 years, right? Or am I being naive? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

it's chaotic anyway you do it. but seriously, do it when it feels ok. if you wait to long, it could be a problem. i had no problem with #1 but had secondary infertility and m/cs trying to have #2. now, my kids are 4 yrs apart (planned on 3 yrs). [ Reply | More ]

don't wait too long just to try to time things perfectly. that's what i did & had to go the route of fertility treatments. [ Reply | More ]

After 35yrs it is harder to get pregnant and the risk of dc with problems is increased. [ Reply | More ]
