vent. i work for a corporate library and people think they can keep our materials indefinitely. we send out memos asking for material to be returned and they don't even read the memos. it's a problem for us and also is kind of insulting. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i'll try to be more aggressive. but that's where the insulting thing comes in. a lot of people think that the corporate library is here to serve them (which is true) but they translate that into "therefore i don't have to adhere to your rules, you have to adhere to my wishes". they just don't care.
