argh. We are trying to refinance our mortgage, and our bank said that Verizon submitted something negative to a credit agency. When dh called Verizon to find out why, they had no idea and said they'd have to "research it". We've paid all our bills on time, so this is clearly an error on their part. Sooo annoying. That sucks. Banks are trying to get out of qualifying mortgages any way they can these days, so request to see the credit report if you haven't seen it yet. [ Reply | More ]

I don't blame the bank, but we did just get the mortgage maybe 7 months ago, and we've paid it down a bunch, so between the paydown and the change in rates, refinancing would make a big difference in our monthly payment. [ Reply | More ]
