Ok should I be getting grief from the nanny?- with school over, I asked her to pick up dc from camp and she got there late and ended up having to take a cab to cut some time from the subway station. We prepped her for a month giving her very detailed directions and also telling her to add add'l 30 min (which we compensate her for) to her normal commute. I feel bad that she had to take a cab she left her house at her usual time not allowing herself extra time like we asked her to. I didnt get major grief but she seems a bit bothered that she has to pick up dc from camp 3 days this week- not the entire summer!!! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i know...not only am i compensationg but we are always letting her leave early on fridays and other days that fall day before holidays. i think we take care of her pretty well although we don't pay for her lunch like her previous emloyers. [ Reply | More
