Has anyone gotten through to NEST about registration and maybe orientation info? No one's picking up for me all day. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i got through by calling the main # then dialing 0. They are making appointments for registration. They say that orientation will take place the first week of school. Kids don't have to be present for registration; times are all in the morning. Bring birth cert/passport, proof of address, and immunization record. See you in September! [ Reply | More

No, you should try calling again, pressing 0 for operator. They're registering til next Wed., but they have limited time slots left, and if you work, most of the early morning spots are already gone. [ Reply | More

I don't think they can just stop the registration on Wednesday. As long as you accepted a spot at NEST feel free to make an appointment with NEST for registration anytime. They cannot take your spot away if you don't register by Wed next week. [ Reply | More

NEST parent (with btdt perspective) don't kill yourself being early with that stuff. We made ourselves crazy getting it all done asap. The school doesn't care. There is no prize for being first. [ Reply | More

been to registration: Bring •Birth Certificate (or passport) •Con Ed Bill (or something to prove address) •Child's SS card Immunization record is not necessary since you can mail them back in 2 weeks. They were very nice, but obviously totally swamped. [ Reply | More

adding one more thing: as of now, no info on orientation. They let me write our address on the envelop and will be mailing the orientation info as soon as they have it. [ Reply | More
