Yes, I'm OP. I tried when I was just trying to get basic info about their policies but have found them so beleaguered and unsympathetic that I haven't asked for any special consideration. They did tell me there was no budging in allowing the lower-scorer into TAG, which would be the only way I'd send them to my district TAG, which happens to be right across the street. It's hard to explain to people that when you have twins, there are dynamics within a family that are uniquely stressful...they compete over whose hair is longer! Imagine something that matters, like who is "smarter" or whatever. Not that that doesn't happen with different age siblings, but twins are exponentially harder in that way. (Easier in other ways, of course.) Thanks for listening. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

my sister has twins, one of whom is sharp as a tack, very good academically. The other is equally smart, but has learning differences and behavior issues and doesn't do as well in school. the former is a girl and the latter is a boy. I don't know what to tell you to do about the school issue, but just try to play up the "less smart" one's talents. like my nephew loves to perform and he's taking dance and stuff like that, which he loves.
