I'm not sure how much a 15y-o would like rent. I'm sure that there would be better shows for that age [ Reply | More ]

AMNH, the Met. I had 13 yo niece come stay last summer with us (with my then-4 4 yo ds). Every day doesn't have to be a huge deal -- they had a lot of fun just hanging out actually. You don't want to wear him out and have a cranky pants on your hands. My niece was always happy to just read books, too. [ Reply | More ]

How about at night you can take her to the FREE FILM at Bryant Park? Or check out if Lincoln Ctr has started their outdoor dancing (like salsa, lindy (sp?) ect. This is a huge deal and fun every summer [ Reply | More ]

Coney Island. See the Cyclones for a few innings then walk the boardwalk. The rides are great and the people watching is better. The Aquarium is world class, too. And don't forget Nathan's Hotdogs. (Or Totanos (sp?) for one of NYC's three best pizzas.) [ Reply | More ]
