Ok, I think we are going to have to get those ear tubey things. Going on double ear infections number 10. Any reason why we should not just get the tubes? DD is 19 months. For some reason I just don't feel good about it but I don't know why. I've missed a lot of work. I need my job. TIA [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

yeah, get them. they're supposedly no big deal and they come out quickly. my dd almost had to get them, she had like 6 ear in fections, and then the next year, none. so, you could wait a little and see how this next cold season goes. but realy, if you trust your ped and he recomends, just do it. much better than more antibiotics [ Reply | More

no, we narrowly avoided but if she had one more infection they were going to do it. but lik ei said, spring came and the next year, no infections. [ Reply | More

everyone i've talked to with them say they're great, they work, no reason not too other than it sounds scary and i think they put the kid under to put them in .but otherwise, nothing wrong about them [ Reply | More
