Betcha there aren't many 97+ that didn't go to private preschool, which is $$$$$. Shows that money is a big factor in these G&T placements. [ Reply | More

Wrong in our case. DS got 97--daycare for 4 years and one year of public Pre-K. Know 2 other kids who got similar scores (95 and 99) with the same background. [ Reply | More

NP: The distinction between private pre-school and private daycare is pretty difficult to make. I think it'd be interested to see what connection there is between OLSATS and time spent outside the home, whether daycare or pre-school. [ Reply | More

My 99 has been in daycare since he was an infant. I know of at least 2 other kids from there who also qualified for citywide. Not sure whether you count this as preschool or not. [ Reply | More

99 and public pre-k. There were 3 other students in my DD class who scored 98, and 2 in the other pre-k in the school who were also 97 or above. That's 6 out of 40 from from one public pre-k. [ Reply | More
