Trying to decide on swim classes at Asphalt Green or 14th St Y for 6month old? I've heard Asphalt Green's pool is amazing and the floor moves? Anybody go there? Worth the cab ride up there? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

With a 6 month old do what is the easiest. You're not going to get to swim or relax by yourself. [ Reply | More ]

for a 6mo, just go to the closest, cheapest mommy & me swimming program. [ Reply | More ]

NP: Asphalt Green is nice. They can make the baby pool as shallow or deep as they want to (yes, the floor is moveable). That said, swimming for a 6mo is stupid [ Reply | More ]

I did it at Asphalt with my son at 6 months. It was really nice but it does nothing for them in terms of teaching them to swim. I won't do it for my newborn- I'll wait until at least 2 yo. [ Reply | More ]
