I chose to stay home with dc. I worry about how I will get back in the work force etc. I don't want to do what I did before so whatever I choose I will most likely be starting from scratch. Anyone else feel like this or in the same boat here? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

no i kept my job but if you want to go back to work someday you can always go back to school first. i think that's what most mom's do who decide it's time to hang up the apron in exchange for a $$ job. GL [ Reply | More

i think a gazillion people are in that boat. and it's tough, there's no good answer honestly. if you were workign you'd struggle about that. and in a way it's good that you didnt' like your career before, so you're not really losing ground on something by steppign out. tyr to just enjoy it and deal with reentry when the time comes [ Reply | More

i'd start putting feelers out to people to see what is out there. if you are thinking of changing careers, you need to do somethign to position yourself. maybe see a career counselor to help you do this. otherwise, if you need the money, go back to what you were doing and go from there [ Reply | More
