DD (5 yo) just froze and refused to go on stage during tap rehearsal for her upcoming recital. She loves dance but clearly is fearful of performing in front of an audience. Do I encourage her to go to the dress rehearsal and performance, or let her out of it and try again when she’s older? wwyd? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I would encourage and praise as much as possible but not force her. [ Reply | More ]

Encourage her and talk to her teacher - they have dealt with stage fright before. [ Reply | More ]
