does anyone know how much a labor doula charges, more or less? 5 years ago we paid $1000, which felt like a lot. the doula was super-experienced though and we really liked her. just interviewed another doula (much less experienced than the one we used last time) and she wanted $1500. if you had a doula, how much did you pay her? I can't answer the mone question - but I know my friend was training to be a doula and had to attend three births to get certified. She attended them for free. Maybe you can get a student on number three? [ Reply | More
