I can not seem to control my anxiety. I went on Zoloft about 2 years ago after a series of really awful events, but went off when things calmed down. Zoloft made me gain weight and interfered with work life, sex life, etc. Has anyone had better luck with another drug? I'm crazy about going back on anything, but if it would help me function better, I guess I will try it again. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I had great luck with prozac and cloimipramine - took the combination for a few months and haven't had anxiety issues for a couple of years now. [ Reply | More ]

Did you have any trouble with weight gain? My doc said that she wouldn't use prozac because it caused more weight gain than Zoloft. [ Reply | More ]

no, but at the time I was skinny (not any more, unfortunately) so wasn't too sensitive to that issue. Since it turned out to be fairly short-term, I would have done it even with weight gain to get relief of symptoms. [ Reply | More ]

I think that's were I'm headed too. I just need this feeling to stop so that I can find some happiness. [ Reply | More ]

That is exactly where I was; it had become so debilitating. Good luck to you. [ Reply | More ]
