wohm moms - when you went back to work after maternity leave, did your pre-pregnancy clothes fit you? if not, what did you do? I don't think my clothes will fit when I go back in August and wondering if I should use a personal shopper to help me put together a basic m-f 9-5 uniform to get me through until my body goes somewhat back to what it was before. Did anyone do this with any success? TIA. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

My pre-pg clothes were not even close to fitting, so I did the personal shopper route for work wardrobe. Worked out really well. [ Reply | More ]

I didn't use a personal shopper but I got a few things in the larger size and wore them until I got back to normal. I got basic things like black pants, pinstripe pants, etc and plain tops so everything was interchangeable and I could get by with not as many pieces (you can wear the black pants more than once in the same week, but not something more distinctive).
