Why do people feel the need to be so bitchy and bitter? I am sorry if your child's name was not drawn earlier so they could have a better spot. It was random at each percentile. My dc is just luckier than yours to have gotten a spot at Anderson. That is all there is to it. It is not that your dc deserves it less or that mine deserves it more. I agree, this system sucks and there is an obvious need for more schools like Anderson and NEST+m. I am sorry that your dc didn;t get your first choice but these kids are 4 and 5 years old, they will do well no matter where we choose to send them. Please, just be happy that your dc got a spot in g&T, you have a good zoned option or you have a private or Hunter spot. Let your dc go to school, have fun, make new friends and learn while they are there. There is absolutlely no need for the bitter remarks being made around here. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

For example, there is one on the Master of all Master lists that says she hates someone becasue her kid got a 97 and is a sib and the op's kid had a 99 but didn;t get in. That is so uncalled for.
