would you let your 4.5 mo cry it out a bit at night? We know he isn't hungry, but he is still waking up almost every hr. Sleep has been inconsistent since day 1. Has slept through the night and has not. There is no pattern. The only thing that gets him back to sleep is nursing. In own crib, btw. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i would. you don't have to refuse to go in all night. you can try if he wakes up and fusses at all but doesn't cry, or pick a time - say, you won't go in before 11 or midnight or whatever modified system works for you. don't let other people guilt you into not sleeping at all. [ Reply | More ]
