ok last NYC fashion question (I think) We are coming up for a visit. I think I have my stuff together but what are men wearing in the city? Shorts? T shirts or tennis shirts? DH is the opposite of a metrosexual (a hobosexual I think) and I have no clue. Any hints would be appreciated. ;-) [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

ok. He does have khakis he wears for work and some polo type shirts. I think he will insist on shorts at least part of the time if it's hot, but he does have a couple of nicer khaki type ones. thx [ Reply | More

I've lived in NYC all my life. What screams transplant is calling them tennis shoes. We call them sneakers. You can wear them with shorts. But mind what wa ssaid above about socks. And they have to be the right type of sneakers. [ Reply | More
