I would definitely take 158. So much better for your dc to have friends in the neighborhood. [ Reply | More ]

I think 158's classes are smaller than the other ues schools. FWIW I would keep my dc there. I think it's cruel to bus a small child all the way downtown when you have a good zoned option. [ Reply | More ]

mid-90's and we had a terrible experience with the test site and imho, score would have been higher had what happened not occurred. test scheduled for 2:00, not good for my 4 year old who still naps at that hour. site did not have enough proctors and made many of us wait over an hour to be tested. by the time my child got into the test it was well after 3:15 and she was v. tired. child collapsed in a heat in my arms when test was over and told me quite plainly that s/he was tired during test and did not answer all questions. i appealed test conditions and won. on retest day, child had a fever of 104 and could not submit to testing. DOE would not grant another test date. my hope at the beginning of this was to send my daughter to our local g&t program and unfortunately, that will not occur. i wish everyone well next year and hope that their expectations of the school their child has been placed in are met.
