dd just turned two on saturday and has immediately begun embracing "the terrible twos." she will not listen to anything and does not take anything seriously. any advice for a good book or technique for solving this problem. i feel so unprepared. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

My dd is also in the terrible 2's now and I found that when she acts up I have to get her to focus on me to make her fully listen. Also learned quickly that raising my voice with her doesn't work since it makes her laugh. She does take time outs pretty seriously and only stays there for a few minutes and calms down.
