I don't understand why I am always so broke. Always. I make $50,000 a year, clear about $2900 a month, and out of that I pay $800/month for daycare, $700/month for private school and the rest my own day to day expenses and groceries. Dh covers everything else. What am I doing wrong? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Ah. You mean I'd save money being a SAHM? But the kids are 3 and 7-- would still have to pay for the 7 yo's private school, suppose I could remove ds from daycare but he loves it. [ Reply | More

Here it is broken down: $1400 after daycare/school = about $350 per week = $10/day incidentals (coffee,mags, etc.) $280 for groceries. [ Reply | More
