I am TCC and used 50 mg of Clomid this month. I O'd on day 16 and my progesterone level was 18.3 one week later. I am now day 27 and just had some spotting yesterday. THis happened to me recently but it was because my progesterone was really low (6.7). Why could I be spotting? I took a hpt this morning and it was negative. How soon after O do you think a hpt could show positive? TIA! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

HPTs are not reliably accurate until 14 days post-ovulation. Some sensitive ones might possibly test positive for some women at 10 or 11 days. Its too soon to be sure of anything. [ Reply | More
