dh doesn't want to take db to my home country for xmas this year. i come from a remote village in malaysia where all my family live. dh, who is american, is worried about hygiene and sanitation, and is afraid db will get sick. it is also a long trip there (3 days if we do it all at once, which we won't, we would break it up). my family haven't seen him since he was born, and he will be 16 months in dec. is he being too paranoid, or am i being too lax?
